You guys, this month’s show is a BIG deal, here’s why:
- It’s our FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY! We’ve been telling stories with you and for you for FOUR YEARS! We never thought we’d last this long, and this calls for a celebration!
- We’ve got an ALL-LADY LINEUP!!
- All of this month’s readers are first time TASW readers, EVERY SINGLE ONE!
First up on our fabulous, four year anniversary, all-lady, first time reader lineup is the amazing Susan Herold!
For the past 12 years Susan has worked at Consumer Reports, running advocacy campaigns supporting Wall Street reform, the Affordable Care Act and food and product safety. Susan worked in the U.S. Senate for Sen. Dick Durbin as an American Political Science Association journalism fellow. Her journalism career has spanned more than 25 years, including as a reporter, political editor and metro editor of the Phoenix Gazette. Susan also edited a magazine and taught journalism at the university level, and was a Kiplinger Investigative Reporting fellow and a Poynter Institute Media Management fellow. She has a B.S. and M.A. in journalism and attended law school.
Come see Susan on Sunday, October 9 at Great Lakes Tattoo, 1148 W. Grand Avenue. Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8. Free (donations accepted) BYOB, and SO MUCH BETTER FOR YOUR BRAIN AND GENERAL WELL BEING THAN THE SECOND TRUMP-CLINTON DEBATE! Trust us on this, you’ll be so glad you spent that time with us instead of screaming at the TV.
