Our show gets a new address more often than the average 22 year old; our very first show was delayed by a month because the venue we were originally scheduled to premiere in closed 12 days before our launch date. We set up headquarters at Swim Cafe for a 14 month run before they closed, and then we moved to the Savoy where we’ve spent the past six months under the adoring gaze of Stephanie Sack and Paco Zamora. Though it’s been quite glamorous performing within the Savoy’s absinthe soaked walls, it’s become clear that we’ve outgrown the space. We’ll be moving to another address for our August 10 show (more on that in the coming days.)
Among the many amazing things that have happened at the Savoy is that local shutterbug Allen Green has brought his camera to the last two shows, vastly improving our photo game, which usually consists of iPhone snapshots. Allen was in attendance or Sunday’s All Dude Revue, and took some great photos of our fabulous all dude lineup.
Thanks Allen, and thanks to our studly Sunday lineup. More news on our August show coming soon.
