Meet our readers: Luke Babb

Hold the phone, Luke Babb works at Gene’s Sausage Shop?! I’m totally using this connection.

Luke Babb is a recent Chicago transplant, who has heard every “You’re not in Kansas anymore” joke known to mortal man. They have a degree in English from Truman State University, which means that they know an awful lot about Chaucer for someone working at  Gene’s Sausage Shop in Lincoln Square. They are also a member of the PrintNinja Away Team, which means they spend a lot of time traveling the world, attending cons, and talking to artists about their art. This is all excellent research for their always-in-progress queer crime novel and their affair with storytelling. They live in Albany Park with their partner and a dying orchid named Phil.

Come to The Savoy on Sunday to hear Luke! Stories start at 8, come earlier for dinner. Reservations recommended.
